In 2022, she completed her yoga sculpt teacher training and barre certification. paul lachance, tribe teacher
Paul found his way to yoga in 2019 looking for alternatives and compliments to the gym. It did not take long for him to start practicing daily, enjoying the physical benefits that have (so far) pushed off planned knee-replacements. Beyond the physical asanas, the holistic and mind-body aspects grabbed him and took him to a path to deepen his practice an ultimately become an instructor. When not in the studio, Paul has several alternate personas: musician, surfer, sailor, children’s-book author, technology consultant, and father.
Playlist favs: varied and eclectic, you might here Beck, MC Yogi, Jurassic 5, Jose Gonzalez, Sylvan Esso and more

maddy kasprzak, tribe teacher
Maddy is a Kennebunk native and teacher at the local middle school. She started her yoga journey back in 2013 while in college, but stepped away from it upon returning home to Maine. Thankfully, The Daily Sweat brought her back to her practice as a member at first, but it wasn’t long before she completed her buti training and 200 hour teacher training with TDS. She loves finding new ways to challenge herself as well as those that take her classes. When she’s not in the studio, she can be found dancing around in her classroom, trying to convince her students science is cool and fun. As a self-proclaimed book dragon, she lives for her next adventure in the pages of a book, and believes that ice cream is the solution for any and all problems.

abe lorrain, tribe teacher
Abe's been practicing yoga off and on for many years, but truly fell in love with yoga when Silvia was doing her yoga teaching training in 2020. His practice was becoming more consistent as Silvia was teaching more. He had no idea how life changing yoga could be when practiced on a consistent level, it changed his body and his mind - "yoga is all about the mind body connection". With every class, he began to see how strong he was and how his mind was becoming calmer and focused. The more Abe practiced, the more he fell in love, he wanted to continue his yoga journey and help others. In 2021 Abe had an urge to share the amazing healing power of yoga, so he signed up for his 200 hour yoga teacher training with The Daily Sweat.
When not in the studio Abe is hanging with his three lovely dogs, brewing beer for his company - Funky Bow Brewery, cooking, enjoying the local beaches, being with friends, thinking about his next yoga class.
Abe's favorite music: My favorite genres are always changing. I love uplifting, fun and inspiring music.
Favorite quote: "Yoga begins right where I am - not where I was yesterday or where I long to be." - Linda Sparrowe

It was not until her first Buti class at TDS, that it became very clear yoga was missing from her daily life-YTT was a path calling her name. carolyn richardson, tribe teacher
Carolyn first fell in love with yoga while attending Kennebunk High School in 2014. She was very athletic growing up and pursued collegiate cross country and track and field and attended many yoga classes while living in Boston during her college years and enjoyed the similar meditations that running and a yoga practice both had to offer. After moving back to her hometown in 2020, she decided to deepen my practice and completed a 200 YTT. Her teaching then moved in waves, as the changes of life and careers had begun to push and pull.
Joining the TDS team has been wonderful as both as a member and a teacher. When she’s not in the studio, you can find me running all over town, or walking the beach with my partner and our mini doodle. She looks forward to this next wonderful chapter.

we are a group of individuals that have one another’s backs. we step up to the barre, we hold each other when we cry, we laugh when the smores are too gooey (is there such a thing?), we cuddle + watch movies (just don’t touch maddy with your feet). we take one another’s classes, we know each other’s kids, pets + jobs. we chat, we laugh, we hold, we are one.
