open your body + heart up with this two-hour backbend workshop. backbends help to bring flexibility to the spine as well as the shoulders, hips, + pelvis. we will dive into the anatomy of the spine + how the muscles groups within our body support it, delving into how they contract and expand within backbend poses. we will warm-up our bodies to prepare for for each backbend while finding various counter poses between to bring balance to our bodies. This workshop will allow you the space to gain trust + confidence in your backbends while opening your heart up to the expansion of your practice.
